Electronic Access to our journals
We offer free access in electronic format to users in institutions where a library subscription to the print version of a journal exists. Others may gain access to individual articles as personal members of ATM or on an individual article purchase basis.
This service is provided by ATM, whose Terms and Conditions of Use (below) act as ATM’s academic licence.
Please read the following carefully because by using ATM online services, you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions of Use.
Terms and Conditions of Use of ATM journals
Authorized users are permitted online access to those journal issues to which the subscribing institution or individual holds or held valid subscriptions with ATM. These Authorized users may download, save, or print text, or other information solely for private use or research.
Authorized users are employees, faculty, staff and students who are officially affiliated with the subscribing institution, individual users who have the appropriate subscriptions to the journal, and other users who have paid for access through the individual article purchase facility. Public access may also be provided from designated terminals within the subscribing institution’s IP range. Authorized Users may include persons affiliated with remote sites or campuses of the subscribing institution that are administered from the subscribing institution’s site or campus, but not persons affiliated with remote sites or campuses that have a separate administrative staff.
The subscribing institution is responsible for notifying and updating its IP address and proxy server details within that IP address in order that its authorized users may have access to the journals it subscribes to, and will use its best efforts to prevent unauthorized use, including making all reasonable efforts to inform authorized users of these guidelines.
Authorized users may not alter, recompile, copy, resell, redistribute, publish or re-publish, systematically download, operate a bureau service or print for fee service for distribution to unauthorized users the journal content or any part thereof without explicit permission from the copyright holder.
ATM is not responsible for any charges associated with accessing its online services, including, but not limited to, any computer equipment, telephone or Internet connections and access software.
ATM may modify any of these terms and conditions at any time by providing notice in this Terms and Conditions page. Your continued use of ATM’s online services shall be conclusively deemed acceptance of such modification.
ATM may provide links to third-party websites. Where such links exist, ATM disclaims all responsibility and liability for the content of such third-party websites. Users assume the sole responsibility for the accessing of third-party websites and the use of any content appearing on such websites.
If you refuse or fail to abide by these Terms and Conditions or violate any other terms of this Agreement, ATM reserves the right in their sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to the online service immediately without notice, in addition to any other available remedies.
Unless otherwise specified, ATM holds all rights, including copyright in the journals, and maintains these rights under all circumstances. The publisher reserves the right to withdraw any of the journals or any part of any of the journals in order to comply with any legal rule or court order, or if the publisher is at risk of liability from the continued availability of the journal or part of it. ATM will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the journals are available to the subscribing institution, and to restore access as soon as possible in the event of an interruption. If and when a subscription lapses, continued access will be determined by the ATM.
