Interactive Mathematics

ATM’s latest ICT publication is a CD of 16 programs especially designed to be used with any interactive whiteboard or projector. The programs provide a variety of teaching opportunities for KS2, KS3 and KS4 classrooms and because they are so flexible, almost all can be used at all these key stages.

All 16 programs are flexible and enable teachers to use them to suit their own styles and to respond to sugestions from pupils.

Most, but particularly, programs 4, 6, 11 and 14 are particularly flexible in that they do not dictate the mathematics to be taught except in the broadest terms.

The programs contain extensive teachers’ notes, providing lots of ideas about how to use the software with different classes.
